How plans work

Storage and bandwidth

1 TB is 1,000 GB (10^12 bytes). Bandwidth equals storage, per calendar month in UTC, and counts uploads and downloads together. Listing, renaming and deleting do not count.

At the bandwidth limit

Uploads and downloads pause until the monthly reset or until you add storage. You can still browse, rename and delete. There are no overage fees.

Plans add up

Your quota is the free plan plus every active paid plan. Plans never replace each other, so a long plan cannot be mixed with a short one to get a bigger plan for longer.

The 5-Year plan

A one-time payment per terabyte that lasts 60 months, with no renewals. It adds to your other plans. If a monthly or yearly subscription is running, cancel it before you buy a 5-Year plan.

Refunds

Your first purchase of a paid plan has a 15-day money-back guarantee. Renewals and later purchases are not covered by it. If you upgrade that plan during the guarantee period, the upgrade payments are refunded together with it. A refund ends only that one plan. Each account can request one refund.

When a plan ends

If your storage is over quota when a plan ends, you have 45 days to delete files, add storage or download everything. Uploads are paused during that time. After that, files over the limit are deleted.

Questions about plans

How much does Filexco cost?

Storage costs $6 per TB per month, $60 per TB per year, or $180 per TB paid once for 60 months (the 5-Year plan). There are no per-seat fees, no request fees and no overage bills: at your bandwidth limit transfers pause instead of costing more. Plans add up, monthly and yearly plans cancel any time, and your first purchase has a 15-day money-back guarantee.

What do I get for free?

A free account has 1 GB of storage and 1 GB of transfer per month, with no end date and no card needed. You can use the web app, vaults, previews and the online office, and send 3 documents for signing in total. Team workspaces need storage plans that add up to at least 1 TB.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Open Plan, choose Cancel subscription, and your plan stops renewing. It stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and you can resume it before then. The 5-Year plan is paid once and does not renew.

Can I make my plan bigger?

Yes. Upgrade a monthly or yearly plan on the Plan page: you pay only the difference for the rest of the period, and the new size applies at once. You can also buy a plan of another kind. Plans add up, and each one ends on its own date. To add a 5-Year plan while a subscription is running, cancel the subscription first.

What is the 5-Year plan?

A single payment per terabyte that covers 60 months. There are no renewals. We call it 5-Year, not lifetime, because it ends after five years.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Your first purchase has a 15-day money-back guarantee. Renewals and later purchases are not covered. The refund policy has the details.

What happens to my files if my plan ends?

Your files are not deleted at once. If you then store more than your remaining plans allow, uploads pause and you have 45 days, with e-mail warnings, to download, delete or add storage. After that, data over your limit is deleted. Downloads keep working during that time.

Are taxes included in the price?

Prices are in US dollars and do not include tax. Where the law requires it, taxes such as VAT or sales tax are added at checkout, and the total is shown before you pay.
