Backup and sync tools that speak WebDAV

Keep the tools you already use. Point them at your WebDAV address, sign in with an access key, and your folders appear.

  • Cyberduck: browse and transfer files on Windows and Mac
  • Windows: map a network drive, and use rclone or Cyberduck for files above about 50 MB
  • Mac: Finder, Connect to Server

Keys that only open what you allow

Create as many keys as you like. Each key has a name, an optional expiry and the protocols it may use.

  • Each key has scopes: a folder, with read, write and delete as separate permissions
  • The secret is shown once, and a key can be switched off or deleted at any time
  • A key with no scope has no access, and an invalid scope is refused, never widened
  • Keys cannot reach vaults, which stay in the browser

The address is for the US region. For the EU region replace us with eu.

No surprise bills

Storage is priced per terabyte, and the rest of the bill stays quiet.

No fees per request

Pay per terabyte. Bandwidth up to your storage size is included each month, and at the limit transfers pause instead of costing more. Plans add up, and monthly and yearly plans cancel any time.

You pick the region

Keep your data in the United States or Europe. You choose the region for each top-level folder, and your files stay there unless you move them yourself.

A web app on top

The same folders open in the web app, with previews, a Trash and file versions, and the online office edits Word, Excel and PowerPoint files in them.

Questions about WebDAV

Which apps and tools work with Filexco?

Anything that speaks WebDAV, for example rclone and Cyberduck, the network drives of Windows and Mac, and most sync software. In the browser you can upload, preview, play music and video, and share.

How do I back up a server or computer to Filexco?

Create an access key, then point a backup tool such as rclone at our WebDAV address with that key. Limit the key to the backup folder, so a stolen server key cannot reach your other files.

Where is my data stored?

In the United States or the European Union, whichever you choose. Your files stay in that region unless you move them yourself.

What happens at my bandwidth limit?

Uploads and downloads pause until the monthly reset or until you add storage. You can still browse, rename and delete. You are never billed extra.
